The College of Professional Studies provides students, faculty and the community with challenging academic and real world experiences in the context of local, national and global perspectives through traditional classroom setting, clinical/laboratory experiences and distance learning. Through a program of rigorous teaching, research, and community outreach/service, the College prepares students for professional careers and advanced study in the areas of 刑事司法, 大众传播, 护理 and 社会工作. Graduates of the College of Professional Studies are competitive in their chosen careers, in addition to being socially conscious and productive members of 社会.

The College is comprised of four major professional programs offering four baccalaureate and four graduate programs, as detailed below:
The 护理学院, offers the BSN and MSN degrees. The MSN Program is accredited 由 Accreditation Commission for Education in 护理 (ACEN) and the BSN Program is accredited 由 Commission on Collegiate 护理 Education (CCNE).
The School of 社会工作, accredited 由 Commission on Accreditation of the Council of 社会工作 Education (CSWE), offers BSW and MSW degrees. The school offers an intensive preparation for professional positions in a variety of social work settings.

The Department of 大众传播 offers BA and MA degrees in mass communication. The BA program prepares students for a variety of career options in the broad field of mass communication and is accredited 由 Accrediting Council for Education in Journalism and 大众传播s (ACEJMC). The MA program offers thesis and non-thesis options.
The Department of 刑事司法, one of the largest programs in terms of the number of majors on the campus, offer BS and MS degrees in 刑事司法. The BS in 刑事司法 offers an area of concentration in 律师助理研究. The department prepares students for professional careers and advanced study in criminal justice and legal studies.
The Department of 社会学 & 心理学 serves a threefold purpose: 1) to offer courses that support the General Education Program and other academic majors; 2) to prepare students for graduate study and careers in the disciplines and closely related fields; and 3) to promote the development of students as responsible citizens. Additionally, the Department seeks to expose students enrolled in departmental courses to the current counseling, testing, and research methods common to the social sciences.
With well-qualified and competent faculty and professional staff, the College of Professional Studies prepares students for challenging careers in nursing, social work, mass communication and criminal justice. The College offers the following degree programs:
